I was wondering why the MC even bothers with that pathetic loser, he's so jealous but directing his anger at the wrong person smh. The MC should just say F him and make ice chick one of his hoes and let the hater watch as she drools over the MC and a little public affection as he gets intimate and touchy feely with the woman the childhood friends loves, doing all the things he wish he could aha.

And why didn't the MC just say the association can get half of the proceeds from selling the scrolls, either a 50/50 split or even a 60/40 with the MC being the later smh?? He doesn't know how to negotiate worth shii, hopefully he learns soon.

How does this guy from Ice God Pagoda have this much free time? He always seems to find the MC somehow.

So, he detected the "spy" guy without magic, that was being stealthy and following carefully, but not the ice wizard prick that was barely able to keep in his excitement? Did he use some kind of concealment scroll? Because we know he wouldn't be smart enough to learn magic that helps hide his presence. I'm surprised he didnt just confront him in front of the mage association.
And if mc is supposed to be the associations new genius, why isn't the association keeping someone nearby to at least make sure he's not being put in danger? If they cared enough about him, they at least should have given him some means of protection.
Especially after making such a big scene "in the sky". Sending such waves of magical energy in a town hosting a mage association should at least cause some level of curiosity, if not, alarm. Their association was even said to be in decline, so I don't see why any "powerful magic auras" would be blocking out the mage association's sensory abilities.

He's not using the ice gem, this is all him, his own capabilities which isn't anywhere compared to the ice gem level yet. He hasn't even used the magic ice wand so it's pretty accurate...

i meant he gained ice magic from ice gem in the starting so his ice magic should be stronger than others g.

he couldnt use ice magic before but since his mum passed him ICE MAGIC STONE he used it through STONE like awakened it and used first ice magic before falling from ice cliff escaping with ICE MAGIC STONE
